There was a lot of learning involved in this experiment, covering areas within Literacy, Numeracy and Science. Pupils predicted how many mentos it would take to make the coke explode. They recorded their predications, results and comparisons. Each time pupils increased the amount of mentos and again recorded predications and results. We concluded that we needed at least 15 mentos to make the explosion that we wanted- let’s just say it got very messy!
