To introduce the new topic we have been learning about animals that live in Zoos. We have discovered that zoo animals live in enclosures and we even made our own zoo. There was much discussion about why animals need to live in separate enclosures as the giraffes escaped into the polar bear enclosure. Thankfully we have excellent zoo keepers in J6 who saved the day! Our dramatic play is turned into a zoo cafe where the animals run wild! We looked at the different patterns animals have and used shaving foam and paint to create zebra stripes. Our teacher then made tiger stripes during our social skills group. We have been very busy and learning lots in J6.
