The pupils in J7 were very lucky to have Paul Howard in our class for a story building workshop which was funded by the Arts and Cultural Development sector of Mid Ulster District Council. Paul Howard is a fantastic author and illustrator. He illustrated a book ‘The Owl Who was Afraid of the Dark’ from Jill Tomlinson’s collection. He read parts of the book with the pupils followed by a step by step demonstration of how to draw an Owl. All pupils were able to follow the step by step instructions and created their own interpretation of Paul’s example.
Thank you so much Paul for this fantastic opportunity, we all loved it!
