Environment & Society
As part of their climate change topic, S4 have been exploring practical ways they can care for their local environment. This term, the class have been learning about a variety of bird species, taking part in bird watching activities and discovering how wildlife is affected by changes in climate.
To support the birds in their school grounds, pupils designed and created their own bird feeders using recycled materials. Once completed, the feeders were placed around the school environment in carefully chosen spots. S4 will now be keeping a close eye on the feeders to see which birds and other wildlife visitors come along to enjoy their handmade creations.
Well done S4, a fantastic blend of learning, creativity and environmental responsibility.
