This half term J7 have been working hard on their topic ‘Fire & Ice’. We began with fire and learned the importance of fire safety and firefighters. Next J7 discovered all about volcanoes and even had one erupt in the classroom!
After pupils demonstrated an understanding of the dangers of heat from the fire, J7 learned about the coldness of ice, completing some ice painting and freeing some Polar animals from the ice, using blunt tools and warm water. Pupil's finished the topic making snowballs, which everyone enjoyed.
