Our class has been exploring the theme of Being and Belonging through our geography lessons. Together, we discussed “Me in Our World” and used ICT to investigate our place in the wider community—starting with our local area and expanding outwards to our town, county, country, continent, and even our planet.
The pupils also enjoyed a sensory story that brought Northern Ireland to life. Through this, they worked hard to discover more about our culture, sport, music, and population. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect personal identity with the wider world around us.
