Me and My Family

J1 have been exploring their topic ‘Me and My Family.’
Through their daily Play Based Learning J1 have had many opportunities to learn about their bodies, members of their family and where they live, using the story of ‘Goldilocks and the 3 Bears’ and the ‘3 Little Pigs’. In their Dramatic Play Area they have loved exploring the role of Doctors and Patients in their Role Play Hospital.
J1 have also been working hard on their fine motor skills through their tabletop activities and individual Literacy and Numeracy tasks. Outside they have been busy exploring the season of Autumn as they continue to work on their gross motor skills using the outside resources, Soft Play and the equipment in the PE hall for Sensory Integration.
