As part of our topic “This is Me,” we have been exploring what it means for each of us to be part of our community. For World Book Day, we experienced different aspects of our community through a sensory story. As we continue preparing for transition into adulthood, we are making sure pupils are exposed to the community as much as possible through our class work and weekly outings. We will continue to develop our independence and communication skills as we familiarise ourselves with our community.
