S1 have been learning about vikings and their way of life. They have really enjoyed learning about Viking longboats and the food the vikings would have eaten. Our pupils have made their own viking shields during art lessons and even made their own viking houses from shoe boxes. In our cooking lesson we used different fruits to make a drink just like the vikings did all those years ago.
