Roots, Shoots and Muddy Boots.

This week we are learning about what belongs on farm. In particular what the animals are, the different things animals do and how the animals provide for us. We know that sheep provide wool, cows provide milk and pigs provide bacon and sausages. Our literacy and numeracy work was based on the farm. We worked hard on our counting and writing skills. We had great fun writing words associated with the farm in on glitter trays. In dramatic play we now have a garden centre and have taken turns as the customer and staff. At one stage flowers were costing £50!
