We’ve had a fantastic start to the New Year in S3!
This week, we’ve been busy celebrating through a range of creative and cultural activities. Pupils practiced their arts and crafts and developed their creativity skills by creating vibrant fireworks and colourful New Year banners.
As part of our learning, we explored how New Year is celebrated around the world. One fascinating tradition we discovered was Spain’s “12 grapes of luck”—where each grape represents a month of the year and is eaten to bring luck, health, and happiness. To mark this tradition, we enjoyed making (and tasting!) some delicious grape buns together.
