We have been learning about the language of capacity and weight — including words such as heavy, heavier, light, and lighter. The children enjoyed lots of hands on opportunities to feel and compare the weight of different items, helping them build real understanding through touch and exploration.
We have also been investigating 3D shapes, talking about their properties, sizes, and what makes each shape unique. Pupils loved identifying 3D shapes in everyday objects, discovering cubes, cylinders, spheres and more in the world around them.
