On Wednesday, S9 experienced their first visit back to South West College in Cookstown. This year the students are working towards obtaining an Accreditation in ICT. They will be working towards using and accessing various programmes on a desktop computer such as: Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint & Google Chrome.
Each student over the year will learn to send e-mails and attach documents. They will also explore Microsoft Excel to draw cartoon characters and experience creating a slideshow using PowerPoint.
In addition, pupils will create their own version of their favourite library book using Microsoft Word, as well as adding text to it, images, word art and borders. Along with designing and creating posters for Halloween, Christmas, Valentines Day & Easter.
S9 have lots of learning to look forward to.
