This week, S3 have been building their life and independence skills with a fantastic trip to TESCO to shop for ingredients for our topic-themed pizzas! Armed with their shopping lists, everyone set off with great enthusiasm to find what we needed. The pupils did an amazing job locating their items and heading to the checkouts. Each of them used the self-service tills independently—scanning their groceries and practising their maths and money-handling skills in the process. We had a brilliant time out and about, and the fun continued the next day when we made and enjoyed our delicious pizzas. Fantastic effort, S3! I’m already looking forward to our next weekly supermarket adventure!
