All Packed up and Ready to Go!

18th May 2026

Learners have continued to engage with the final topic, “All Packed Up and Ready to Go.” They have been developing their data-handling skills by sorting clothing according to different holiday types, demonstrating their ability to organise information and make simple decisions. The pupils particularly enjoyed the opportunity to try on various items, which supported their engagement and understanding.

In addition, learners created their own passports, providing meaningful opportunities to develop early literacy skills through mark-making and writing.

As part of the topic, the pupils also explored creative arts by making birds using homemade clay. They showed enthusiasm and creativity when deciding how to decorate their birds, particularly when selecting and adding feathers. This activity encouraged sensory exploration and supported the development of fine motor skills.
