J1’s topic has been Christmas Colours. They have been busy exploring the colours of the rainbow before focusing on the traditional colours of Christmas; green, white and red.
The rainbow has been a lovely opportunity to explore the story of Elmer, Noah’s Ark and My Many Coloured Days.
Through their Play Based Learning they have had many different opportunities to develop their creativity, turn taking, concentration and fine motor skills.
The classroom often looks a little messy after our Play Based Learning, as we eagerly explore different alternatives for sand and water play, while developing our tolerance of preferred and non preferred sensory mediums.
