S6 have been working hard on their Eco Schools projects. Pupils collected banana skins and put them in a large bucket of water, which was left for three days. This liquid is an excellent fertiliser for plants as it is rich in vitamins and minerals including potassuim which is one of the three essential nutrients plants need to stay healthy. S6 then strained the skins and used the liquid to feed some of the plants around school.
