We have been exploring a range of 2D and 3D shapes in class. Through construction play and table top activities, pupils have been exploring building with 3D shapes and sorting, matching and identifying 2D shapes. We have also enjoyed singing songs about shapes and their properties and printing with shapes in class. The pupils printed stars on 2D star templates to make a Christmas tree for our class display. They also decorated stars made from clay which were used to make a 3D star shaped Christmas tree for the front hall display in school.
