Our new topic is all about different modes of transport and journeys we could take. We discovered what vehicles travel in the sky, on the road and on the water. We designed our own cars and used cubes to measure cars. Our mechanic small world play was very productive and so many cars, trucks and vans were serviced and back on the road. There was a car wash set up in our water tray and by the time everyone had finished we definitely had the cleanest cars in the school! Our favourite part of this topic was the aeroplane in our dramatic play area. We travelled all over the world and took turns as the pilot, cabin crew and passengers. We had a choice board of pictures from different destinations and we had to select where we wanted to travel.
