J1 took part in the ‘Big Bird Watch’ and enjoyed learning about and helping to care for the birds in winter. We enjoyed having a representative from the RSPB to help us identify birds in our sensory garden and share sensory stories in class. J1 cared for the birds in winter by helping to replenish the bird feeders in school and made their own bird food in class. The pupils also enjoyed learning about birds through play based learning activities.
